The Shandaken Project is a community-supported residency program in the Catskills. Beginning this summer, artists, writers, curators, and more will be invited to live and work on our 250-acre grounds for free.
And they need studios to house such residents!
Artist Kant Smith has designed incredibly functional yet incredibly cheap studios for the project that can be erected anywhere and later be disassembled for transportation to another location. The best part is, they can be re-purposed for manifold practices: from painting to pottery to writing and more.
IDK about you, but I’m down for the Catskills-land-party-as-pledge-gift for $15. Donate!
